what black hole? is an album I began to assemble in the first half of 2023. It features tracks that were produced starting in 2015 through 2023, but I only began seeing them as belonging to a single album earlier this year. It was initially intended to be two EPs, probably only 9 tracks in total. In the midst of the creative process when hearing all the music I was working on, it began to make more sense as a single, cohesive album.

This album was made as a way for me to understand and reflect upon the at times very difficult process of personal transformation and mental healing I’ve been going through. The descent into Pluto as an impossibly bright and massive star implodes into a vortex of cold void is a metaphor for that.
